Read the objective before choosing a route.

Knight Chase has 116 adventure levels across 14 chapters. Different levels can ask you to reach a goal, collect gems, survive, escort a piece, or overcome another board challenge. A route that works in a duel may not solve that level’s objective.

Start with the goal shown by the game. Check the board, any move limit, and the pieces or objects you need to reach before you commit to the first jump.

Think about the return route.

When a departed square becomes sealed, a route through the board is not necessarily reversible. Before moving towards a gem or a goal, look at the legal landing squares you will have afterwards.

Try planning a short sequence rather than only the next destination. Leave yourself a way to continue towards the objective.

Learn a hazard in a small position.

Portals, slippery floors, switches and fog can change how you read a level. Use the instructions and contextual exercises when a new mechanic appears. Learn what that mechanic does before adding a long tactical plan around it.

A lesson is a place to test a rule. It is useful even when you understand the knight’s basic move, because the level can change what a safe destination means.

Use practice to test an idea.

Practice mode lets you revisit an unlocked adventure level, undo decisions, and use staged hints. It does not spend lives or award progression, so you can concentrate on understanding the position.

When a route fails, identify the first point where you lost a necessary destination. Try another move from there, rather than repeating the same opening without a new idea.

Return when you have a plan.

Once you understand the route, play the adventure level again to progress. Unfinished single-player sessions are saved locally on your device; keep in mind that local storage is not a cross-device backup.
